The Cass County Democratic Party is once again supporting Interfaith Action’s annual Celebration of the Harvest & the Harvesters. We are collecting donations for migrant workers as the group has requested. These can be brought to the CCDP Office (204 South Front Street, Dowagiac) and we will arrange for them to get to the celebration to help honor the contributions of migrant workers to our local communities. Please bring your donations from the list to the office before September 26, 2026.
Items needed include

• Dry pinto and black beans
• White rice
• Bar soap
• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
• Reusable water bottles
• Sunscreen
• Towels
• Blankets
• Men’s clothing (T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, hooded sweatshirts, jeans, socks)
• Athletic shoes (sizes 8-9)
• Baseball caps
• Sunglasses
• Shampoo
• Beanie Babies for children
