The county fair brings back all sorts of memories and great feelings. The sights, sounds, and smells set the heart on fire. It’s a chance for the community to come together, a chance for children and youth to shine, and a chance to meet friends and neighbors. The fair runs from Monday, August 3 until Saturday, August 8.

This year, be sure to stop by the Cass County Democratic Party’s booth in the first Commercial Building! We’ll be waiting for you to answer questions or express solidarity. Our friendly members will be glad to talk to you about the upcoming elections and give you information. You might even get to meet candidates for local, state, and federal offices that serve our area. Talk to them! Find out what they stand for so you can make an informed decision in the Primary Election on August 4, and in the General Election on November 3. Make your voice heard! Our county is stronger when our elected officials get to hear our voices. And remember that you do not need to be a party member to gather information.

So drop by the booth. Pick up a fan, a button, or a frozen treat. Who knows, you just may meet up with some neighbors you never expected to see there, and you won’t feel so isolated. Join us at the fair or pop into the office in Dowagiac on Saturday mornings from 10-12. We’ll be waiting for you!
